Italian Air Force completes SESAR deployment Implementation Projects 2016_092_AF5 and 2017_069_AF5
Congratulations to the Italian Air Force for the completion of two SESAR deployment Implementation Projects: 2016_092_AF5 and 2017_069_AF5.
The deployment of their Wide Area Network (WAN) enables VoIP and SWIM services, and the deployment of the Integrated Briefing systems enables the Italian Air Force to share Aeronautical Information Service data, crucial for the data flow to civil and military users, both projects further contributing to digitalisation of aviation.
These implementation projects are framed in the SWIM Functionality of CP1, namely in SESAR Deployment Programme Family 5.2.1 “Stakeholders’ SWIM PKI and cyber security” and 5.3.1 “Aeronautical Information Exchange”
