SESAR Deployment Manager is pleased to inform you that 2 Applications have been submitted in response to the 2016 CEF Transport Calls for Proposals yesterday afternoon (before the INEA deadline set on today, 7th of February, at 17:00 CET) through the INEA TENtec system.

The two proposals, SESAR Deployment Programme implementation 2016 – Cluster 1: General and SESAR Deployment Programme implementation 2016 – Cluster 2: Cohesion, submitted respectively under the general and the cohesion envelope, integrate a total of 101 implementation projects assessed by SDM as relevant to the implementation of the Pilot Common Project (Regulation (EU) N°714/2016) for a potential total investment of around €931 million.

Behind these 2 proposals, 70 Implementing Partners in 34 States (28 EU Member States and 6 Neighbouring Countries) including civil and military Air Navigation Service Providers, Airspace Users, Airports Operators, Meteorological Service Providers, the Network Manager, the Military and the Manufacturing Industry stand ready to invest in modernising Europe’s Air Traffic Management system deploying SESAR technologies and operational procedures and thus contributing to achieve the Single European Sky performance objectives.

With this submission, SDM continues to show that SESAR deployment is contributing to the implementation of the Single European Sky initiative and the associated high level goals.
