SDM congratulates FAB CE and FABEC ANSPs on signing a Joint Declaration to support Single European Sky and ATM modernisation

On the 17th of June 2020, Air Navigation Service Providers from Functional Airspace Block Central Europe (FAB CE) and Functional Airspace Block Europe Central (FABEC), signed a Joint Declaration in view of strengthening their collaboration in the area of ATM performance.

SESAR Deployment Manager supports this declaration, which deepens cooperation and improves ATM modernization with the goal of accelerating the progress towards a Single European Sky through the identification of 6 key cooperation areas: Single European Sky, Safety, Airspace structures, Capacity management, Training and Aeronautical Information Management. The key areas of this cooperation are facilitated and coordinated by the SESAR Deployment Manager.

This inter-FAB collaborative framework cements the importance of joining forces to continue the implementation of ATM modernization measures for the benefit of airspace users and passengers, in the light of traffic recovery.
