Modernising Air Traffic Management As One News and Views from SESAR Deployment Manager Edition # 2

Dear reader,

Just over one year now since the new SESAR Deployment Manager was selected by the European Commission. A big thank you and congratulations to all our members and implementing partners working hard As One team to make the European ATM modernization and digitalization a reality every day. 

During the past few months, we have reached out to many of our stakeholders who actively shape the ATM of the future in Europe. Whether it is through on-site visits, webinars or bilateral meetings, these interactions remain very important. Not only to better understand and witness the operational reality of deployment but also to finetune our support to the needs of all the ones involved in SESAR deployment.

We continue our full commitment to modernising and digitalising ATM through SESAR deployment projects delivering benefits to the European ATM network. After 9 years of active coordination, 'benefits' is indeed the key word when it comes to implementation projects and we will continue to demonstrate the positive impact of SESAR deployment on the European ATM modernisation journey.

The recent awarding of the CLEAN ATM initiative, a project coordinated and prepared by SESAR Deployment Manager, is another important proof of our recognised added value. Congratulations to all involved stakeholders who engaged to further modernize and decarbonise ATM in Europe.
