

European Commission virtually visits LFV
SESAR Deployment Manager (SDM) is facilitating visits from the European Commission (EC) an INEA representatives to Implementing Partners of SESAR deployment. The first corona-proof edition was a visit to the Swedish Air Navigation Service Provider LFV on 22 September 2020. These visits aim to assess the deployment projects operational in Europe. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, travel restrictions and safety measures, this visit was organised fully online together with SDM experts, INEA, the European Commission and representatives of the Member State.
On this occasion, LFV and SDM presented ten SESAR deployment projects. Two projects completed in 2019, 2015_099_AF5 – “DK – SE Aeronautical Data Quality (ADQ)” and 2015_118_AF5 “More efficient Flight Planning”were showcased remotely to all representatives.
This virtual visit to LFV marks the first of a series that will continue until December 2020. More visits to Implementing Partners in virtual settings are planned to take place between October and December, namely in Spain, Croatia, Italy, Portugal and France
