European Aviation Environmental Report
Congratulations EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency! Happy to have contributed to this important report. We strongly support the initiatives described & emphasize the Common Project One (CP1) contribution towards reduction of fuel and CO2 inefficiencies.
CP1 addresses these inefficiencies in several phases of flight, especially the cruise phase, and in 2030 will have reduced the entire CO2 inefficiencies by more than 10% (reduction of 111 kg CO2 per flight).
The total savings in 2030 will reach 1.4 million tons of CO2 in Europe. The cumulated savings up to 2030 are 10.4 million tons of CO2. The contribution of CP1 projects managed by SESAR Deployment Manager represent around 20% towards the Master Plan’s ambition in 2035.
