Regarding the costs that are to be updated in STAR: For year 2017, should they be provided in the field “actual costs”? What about “updated planned costs”: Could you please give a definition? □ When do they have to be updated? (January? April? September?) □ For which years?

Actual costs are the ones incurred in past years and the present year, as long as there are not certified yet in a CFS as a supporting document to Payment requests.
Updated planned costs should be inserted only for the future years in case more accurate figures than the planned costs are available. These shall be updated only once a year within the ASR exercise (so the monitoring gate ending on 15th January of year N+1).
