From new workflow management systems to enhanced safety nets, we are proud of the progress we have made together with our partners in bringing the Single European Sky (SES) initiative – which aims to synchronise and modernise European airspace – a step closer to reality.
Through this newsletter, we will keep you informed on how these projects are ensuring the successful future of Europe’s airspace with updates on our mandatory high-level goals, such as increasing capacity, improving safety, lowering environmental impact, and reducing costs.
In our first issue below, you can find a round-up of our activities over the last year, as well as an update from our own team as we welcome the appointment of our new General Manager, Nicolas Warinsko, who will lead SESAR into its next stage of development.
Nicolas is currently Deputy Managing Director and Director of Technical Operations at SDM, having played a key role in our consortium to-date, and will take up his new role in January 2018.
We look forward to sharing regular updates with you on the progress of SESAR deployment projects that are transforming Europe’s airspace infrastructure.
